Ever wanted to extend your remote control range? Most of us have had the short-range frustration with any of the remote controllers that populate our lives. We all blame the battery but there’s a simple hack that will extend your remote control range massively – you can operate by remote control up to 300% further away.
Have you:
* Ever wanted to open or lock your car from distance? (Extra handy when you’re looking for your car in a busy carpark!)
* Wanted to get your Garage Door open before you’re right on top of it?
* Tried to open Security Gates without needing to walk / drive right up to it?
* Or failed to change the Heat Pump temperature without having to be in the same room?
* Imagine pushing the button to open your security gates from far enough away so that you don’t need to stop & wait, you just drive on through.
* Same with your garage door, get it up sooner so you can drive right on in without waiting. Or close it from further away.
* Have you ever lost track of your car in a massive parking lot? Now you can find it by unlocking from distance & looking for the lights flashing.
What’s the point of a remote control if you have to be within close range of the equipment? You may as well use manual buttons on the device. You don’t need to be close by, you just need to extend your remote control range.
Here’s an amazing hack that will extend your remote control range by up to 300% each & every time. You don’t need line of sight, operate your equipment before you see it.

I used to drive up to the security gate, stop the car, point the remote & repeatedly push the button until the gate started opening, then wait for it to open far enough to drive through. Now, I can open the gate before I see it & drive straight on out without stopping. Every time.

How To Extend Your Remote Control Range
Common sense has it that you should point the remote at the item you’re controlling – sending the signal like a bullet from a gun. Common sense is not wrong, but it’s not right either – there is a better way.
Radio waves don’t work that way – the clue is in the name – radio waves. When you push the button, the signal radiates from the controller in a semi-circle, like waves when you drop a stone into water.
What improves radio signal is a signal booster, an object that can amplify the signal being sent. Humans are natural radio signal boosters. So…
Don’t point the remote at the gate. Point it at your head. Hold the remote 10cm away & push the button. That’s it. Your remote control signal is amplified massively by using your body – I now this sounds kooky, I thought that too – until I tried it. This works.
Try it pointing up from under your chin, or hold it horizontal pointing toward your ear. You’ll hear the gate open before you see it. No shit.
No more stopping the car at the gates, pushing the button as you wave the controller about then winding the window down. When you’re getting within 3 x your unassisted range, point the controller at your head. Or someone else’s head – let them be your signal booster. The gate / door / whatever will open.
