Big Improvement for Big Sur
Here’s one for MacOS users. If you're running MacOS Catalina, Big Sur or later you’ve probably noticed that apps take ages to load - you know, bounce, bounce, bouncing on and on. You can fix this with a quick & simple hosts file hack. What's happening is that the MacOS service trustd is fucking with App launch by phoning home every time you launch an app - this unnecessary round trip is slowing the app launch severely. Here’s what you do - open terminal & type “echo 0.0.0.0 ocsp.apple.com | sudo tee -a /etc/hosts” - and reboot, just to be sure.
