Although not easily accessible, the passwords for WiFi networks previously connected are stored on your Android device. Owners of rooted ‘droid devices can use Total Commander to access the list here –  /data/misc/wifi/WifiConfigStore.xml. Open this in TC’s native app then use the search function (enter the wifi name) to go direct to the network password you’re after.
