Big Improvement for Big Sur

Here’s one for MacOS users. If you’re running Catalina or Big Sur and your apps take ages to load – you know, bounce, bounce, bouncing on and on – you can fix this with a quick & simple hosts file hack.

What’s happening is that the MacOS service trustd is fucking with App launch by phoning home every time you launch an app – this unnecessary round trip is slowing the app launch severely. Here’s what you do – open terminal & type “echo | sudo tee -a /etc/hosts” – and reboot, just to be sure.
