The first part is easy – in VMware Preferences, simply resize the drive allocation. But how do you make the virtual machine recognise the increase? Through Terminal, that’s how. Easy command – diskutil apfs resizeContainer /dev/disk1 0 & wait for 30 seconds while it’s all done for you.
