Individual brands have quirks specific to that manufacturer. Check your brand below – there may be secret sauce that enables your BIOS to crack.
In the case of Asus laptops it’s the date code you require – enter an incorrect password then press Alt +R at the next prompt. Take that date & enter it in the BIOS Master Password Generator below in the same order (yyyy-dd-mm, mm-dd-yyyy or dd-mm-yyyy) as displayed on your Asus laptop.
NB: Use the hyphen key “-” as the date separator, not “/”. Like this: dd-mm-yyyy, not dd/mm/yyyy.
If your Asus doesn’t display a date code on Alt +R boot, there are 2 touchpoints by your RAM slots. Google for your machine’s exact location & short them with a paper clip or tweezers – ka-ching! No more BIOS password.
Dell use 3 minor inconveniences to defend their BIOS security. Without following their protocol, even correct BIOS Master Passwords will fail.
1. Use a USB QWERTY keyboad.
2. When entering an Uppercase character use Caps Lock, NOT Shift.
3. Press & hold the left Ctrl key when entering the password in Dell laptops, then hit Enter twice.
If your Dell service tag suffix is -0001, stop right here. That suffix indicates that the Allow Master Password switch is turned off in BIOS. You can try downgrading your BIOS but most likely will need to use an SPI Reader to dunp the BIOS.bin file – we can clean it for you.
Some Dell service tags are missing a suffix – first try the password generated, then try the passwords for all suffices by adding either -595B, -2A7B, -D35B, -1F66, -6FF1 or -BF97 to your service tag.
Downgrading the BIOS can change your suffix, resulting in a successful password generation. If your BIOS is set to allow downgrades, this method will help.
-8FC8 & -E7A8 suffix are based on an entirely new method. BIOS Master Passwords are available after PayPal donation to support further research.

Have you tried the Python script for FSI 6×4 on the Downloads page? Give that a go, let me know the result.
NB: You will need Python 2.6 specifically, the script won’t run on any other version.
Yes, I tried the script(s) before I posted here on this site. Python is 2.6.
Result: Script just quits. No result, no error message, window closed.
The script does work, I’ve just tested to make sure.
Try this – assuming you’re on Windows 10, download & install the Python-2.6.amd64.msi executable to your System Drive (C:}. You now have Python installed at C:\Python26.
Save the python script download from this site by right click, Save File as.
Now go to your download location & double tap the fujitsu-6x4dec.py script.
A CMD window will load Python 2.6 & run the script.

I’m sorry, but for me it doesn’t work.

When I put in a random DECIMAL Value like “1234-4321-1234-4321-1234-4321” I’ll get a result, ok.
But, when I put in my system disabled HEXADECIMAL Value: “203c-d001-d56e-0d13-3583-5db0” the script crashes.

Hi, I will try to keep it short but I have already tried everything to get rid of an admin password on my old Alienware 14 (2013). Incl. desoldering the BIOS IC, dumping it and poking around the dump in UEFITool. I also replaced the BIOS and EC bins with ones from a different machine but the password remained, so I am guessing that the password is stored in KBC. Also, I got a master password generated by dell support. None of the generated ones worked. So I am either dumb and am not entering the pwd correctly or I haven’t found the correct key yet. You are my last resort. Can you please help me with this one? (Please let me know if donation is required for this one)

Does it look like the HP Spectre 360 image above but the System Disabled code is preceded by A instead of I?
No. The A is outside of the bracket. So it looks like this:

That’s not a known pattern on any BIOS that I’m aware of. However, if you replace the letter O with numeral 0, it fits the HP AMI algorithm.

No, it does not matter which HDD you have installed for a BIOS PW. The BIOS PW is stored in a chip on the system board, not on the hard drive.

Not all Lenovo are vulnerable to BIOS Master Password generation. For Thinkpad Carbon X1 you need an SPI reader to grab a dump of your password protected BIOS, get it cleaned & re-write it.
If it’s just Windows access you need, remove the X1 SSD & install it in another PC. Now do your Winstall. When complete, return it to your X1. Now your Carbon is fully functional apart from BIOS access.

I am from Germany we have the problem that our keyboardlayout is different then the US one, we have for example Z and Y on the opposite side. but i keep an eye on that and i used the Y to write and Z and the other way around…

Get yourself a USB QWERTY keyboard Christian, that’s your secret sauce right there. Make sure to do the Ctrl + Enter method when entering the master password.
Also, sometimes there’s a glitch in the -6FF1 algorithm. Often replacing the 6FF1 suffix with BF97 will provide the master password. Doing that results in 13r013nq2rNF1NIJ and zJzLRIGabkh9IGay respectively.

Why do you say you can’t change the SSD? Most OS installs these days are hardware-agnostic. You can take a Windows 10 install from one laptop & swap it into another of very different spec & it’ll boot quite happily then install the required drivers from Windows Update.
In the case of BitLocker encrypted drives, install in a non-locked machine. Boot from Winstall drive, format, install Windows. Shut down, remove & put it back in the original laptop. Now finish off your setup & you’re good to go.
